Policies & Rules

  • Slow play in tournaments will result in assessment of a penalty based on our pace of play policy.
  • In the event of a tie for 1st place, a sudden death playoff will determine the winner for each event.
  • The committee will determine Lift, Clean & Place given course conditions for each tournament.
  • All tournament ESC scores will be entered automatically to GHIN at the conclusion of each tournament by the committee.
  • All tournament scores will be posted with a “T" by the committee.
  • Starting times will be determined by random draw, handicaps, or prior day results. 
  • Flighted events will be split into 2 even flights by handicap.
  • For all individual or two man formats there must be a scorer signature and player signature on the scorecard.
  • Players are not responsible for the 18 hole total, just the hole by hole scores. Submitting an incorrect hole by hole scorecard will result in disqualification.

 

 

  • All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be. This is the spirit of the game of golf.
  • Registration deadlines will be fall on the Sunday prior to the event date.
  • If a player is not registered by the deadline the player will not be accepted into the field unless unforeseen circumstances which will be determined by the committee.
  • If a player is registered for an event but needs to withdraw they can simply change their registration to 'cannot play'.
  • ​If a player needs to withdraw after tee times are posted they must call or email Dan Valk

          to confirm no later Friday before the event.

  • Failure to withdraw before Friday will result in disciplinary action taken by the committee.
  • The 2nd time a player no-shows for a tourmanent they will be subject to a $25 fee taken from their tournament credits
  • Tees will be determined by the committee staff based on course conditions & tournament format.
  • Dates, times and formats of scheduled events may be changed or altered any time by the committee.
